Learning Objectives

• Translate evidence-based guidelines into clinical strategies for prompt diagnosis and treatment selection to reduce the occurrence of exacerbations
• Discuss individualized treatment plans that include communication and shared decision-making strategies for patients with asthma
• Describe the clinical data for recently approved and investigational agents for the treatment of moderate to severe asthma

Target Audience

This CME initiative is designed to meet the educational needs of pulmonologists, respiratory technicians, and other health care providers involved in the care of adult and pediatric patients with moderate-to-severe asthma.
